Astraya Grooming Studio
Hello and welcome to my studio, my name is Keri. I started grooming in 2013 after graduating grooming school and groomed steadily until opening Astraya in 2022.
Along with grooming, I have a bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University. As an artist I was inspired to venture into dog grooming to combine my artistic endeavors with my love of animals.
What does Astraya mean? It is the combination of several words.
[A Stray] – my first dog adopted from a litter of puppies found outside.
[Astray]– The sense of wandering, going off the main path. That walking a different route isn’t about being lost but discovering something new- to choose your own way.

Welcome to my Grooming Studio
Astraya Grooming Studio is a 500sqft space with state-of-the-art grooming equipment. Visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
We have electric grooming tables so your dogs can easily step on and off a table and be lifted up and down with the push of a button. Additonally we have two tubs including a imported spa tub for the ultimate skin treatment. The spa bath offers a microbubble and ozone recirculation bath treatment.
We use only the best grooming shampoos and conditioners with ultraviolet light disinfection.
Please keep your pets on leash on entering and clean up after your pets. Follow signage for entrance and don’t be surprised if you see a chicken wandering by (no chasing please)!
